Based on the obtained author agreement upon submission, "Archives of Trauma Research (ATR)" is the copyright owner of the published material. However, according to Bethesda Statement, all works published in this journal are open access and freely available to anyone on the journal website without cost under creative common license BY-NC. Based on this license, under the condition of proper citation, “Archives of Trauma Research (ATR)” grants to all users the following rights:

  1. Free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual access to all published materials.
  2. To copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work on third-party repositories and social media.
  3. To make and distribute derivative works in any digital medium for any non-commercial purpose.

Permission Rules

1. Permission to use or publish an institution data

If you wish to publish the data/information of an institution, you should seek the institution's permission and provide us with the signed permission once submitting the manuscript or in the review process stage.

2. Using online information

Most materials on the Internet are protected by copyright. In such a case, authors need to obtain permission from the source which owns the copyright. Some online materials, however, may not be original to the website and you need to identify the right-holder and seek permission.
